Statistics, statistics and Dam Lies!
Golf Range practice session statistics are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, this makes it easier to analyse my results and I can accurately see my progress during my Golf Challenge.
Key
- Ball ends up within 3 foot of the flag
- Ball ends up within the circle around the flag, especially the green
- Ball ends up outside the circle by up to 10 foot
- Ball ends up outside the circle by more than 10 foot
- Or ball my land in any of the above areas but ball striking was poor
- Very badly hit shot, chunked, topped etc.

Missing dates in the statistics are when I didn’t practice at the range but most likely played on the course or practice at a pitch and putt, I only have one day off a week, as I’m a slacker 
As you can see from the statistics below my practice sessions recently have been progressively improving. Without having these statistics I wouldn’t actually know that I was improving as well as this graph appears to show.
